DIN 17440. Technical delivery conditions for stainless steel drawn wire

With the publication of DIN EN 10028-7, DIN EN 10222-1, DIN EN 10222-5, DIN EN 10250-1, DIN EN 10250-4, and DIN EN 10272, the greater portion of DIN 17440, September 1996 edition, has been superseded. This new edition of the latter standard deals only with drawn wire (not covered by the above European Standards). It is intended to include the specifications for drawn wire in a new edition of DIN EN 10088-3 which is currently being revised.
It should be noted that the symbols designating the forming, heat treatment and surface preparation conditions specified in table 7 of this standard differ from the process route designations stipulated in
DIN EN 10088-2 and DIN EN 10088-3.
