We are very pleased to notice that both the users and the critics have paid a great deal of attention to it. Practically all of it positive. Approaching the issue for some years ago, we were fully conscious of the impossibility of the task to avoid mistakes and shortcomings. A good part of the material presented was to appear for the first time in print
and the material was collected from many sources. The authors fully appreciate the reaction from many readers who have suggested corrections and provided new information. This information will herewith be published. The corrections will follow the original chapters of the handbook and will be presented in their correct form (hopefully!) in the listings, tables etc. New information (markings, notes etc.) in the tables and when presenting illustrations has been marked " * ".See /file/2265887/
