The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) — 2011-04-15 — 11 p.This International Standard specifies procedures for detecting porosity (discontinuity, holiday) in paint coatings on metallic substrates. The procedures given are based on methods using two different types of test equipment:
- low-voltage pinhole detectors (wet sponge testing);
- high-voltage spark testers.This Standard supplements the ISO 12944 series and is applied to the quality control of coatings in conjunction to ISO 19840 (measurement of dry film thicknesses) and ISO 16276-1 / 16276-2 (adhesion by pull-off test / by cut)
